🏛️ Senate Summary:


🛑 The Senate voted to block two new federal regulations:

·       ❄️ One would have required stricter energy efficiency standards for commercial refrigerators.

·       🌫️ The other would have changed how certain polluters are classified under the Clean Air Act.

Both proposals were rejected by narrow but clear majorities.

🏆 College Sports Recognition:

·        🏀 A resolution was passed to honor the UConn Women’s Basketball Team, who won the NCAA National Championship on April 6, 2025, defeating South Carolina 82–59. This was their 12th national title, the most in NCAA women’s history!

·       Assistant Secretary of Defense

·       Under Secretary for Nuclear Security

They also approved over 850 military officer promotions. 🇺🇸
